TrialDirector Wins 6th Annual Law Technology News Awards

TrialDirector Wins LTN Gold Award (top honors) for Trial Presentation Software and Bronze Award for Litigation Support Software

December 5, 2008 (New York, NY) -   Law Technology News ("LTN") magazine announced today the winners of its Sixth Annual Law Technology News Awards, which recognizes the leaders in the field for both innovation and implementation of technology. TrialDirector Version 5.1, the leading trial presentation software developed by inData Corporation, won the Gold award in the category of Trial Presentation Software coming in first place for the third
consecutive year since the category was created.

For the first time ever, TrialDirector also won an LTN award in the category of Litigation Support Software. It is the only trial presentation software representing a win in the category, taking home the Bronze. Concordance 2007 won the Gold award for Litigation Support Software; CT Summation iBlaze won the Silver award.

"LTN Technology Award winners are nominated and selected by actual product users, who demand solid value and performance," said Stephen Lincoln, vice president and national group publisher for Incisive Media. "These winners can feel proud that their products and services have earned the respect and recognition of professionals throughout the industry."

"Each year, our readers have set the bar higher for our award winners, reflecting the needs and experience of their clients," added Kevin Iredell, group director, brand management for Incisive.  "We're delighted to welcome this year's winning products and companies to this elite group and we congratulate them on this significant achievement."

In 2008, the editors of Law Technology News asked the publication's 40,000+ subscribers to select products and vendors that represented outstanding achievement in legal technology in 25 categories. Ballots were solicited from LTN's subscriber audience of law firm partners and managing partners, legal administrators, MIS/IT specialists, corporate counsel, litigation support specialists, and other legal professionals. Winners were determined based on the most-mentioned product/company in each category.

The winners in the vendor categories were announced on Friday, December 5, 2008. The awards will be presented at the LTN Technology Awards Dinner at LegalTech New York on February 2, 2009. Other vendor categories include Product of the Year, Case Management Software, Collaboration Tools, Litigation Support Consultant, and Time and Billing Software, among others. The full list of winners may be found on LTN's Web site.

In addition to the vendor categories, LTN also awards law firms for their innovation and implementation in several categories, including IT Director, Champion of Technology, Most Innovative Use of Technology, and more. Law firm winners will be chosen by a panel of technology experts from among the law firm nominations and announced at a later date.

TrialDirector Version 5.x has won the LTN Award for Trial Presentation Software for the past three (3) consecutive years since the category was first created by LTN. TrialDirector also won the LTN Award for Product of the Year in 2007. inData Corporation has previously won the LTN Award for Litigation Support Service/Consultant.
